HEAL LA teams up with Surf Story Project to HEAL the Bay!

HEAL LA brings artists and the community together for
a great cause!

Surf Story Project” is an amazing collection of art and stories from some of surf culture's most influential artists, writers, and photographers along with 88 of the world's most inspirational and creative surfers. Surf Story was conceived, collected, and edited by Southern California surfer, artist and entrepreneur Robb Havassy, who was able to capture for the first time the unique depth and creative culture within the surfing community.

While browsing amongst an exciting collection of artwork created by talented LA-based artists, such as Andy Moses and Jim Evans, guests will have the opportunity to purchase various masterworks, the “Surf Story” book, listen to live music and participate in the Silent Auction. All proceeds will benefit “Heal the Bay” which is a leading U.S. environmental non-profit organization based in Santa Monica, California dedicated to protecting Southern California coastal waters and watersheds.

Heal LA is a new philanthropic campaign set to launch in early 2011. The campaign will activate local businesses and people to work together to create change. The company is a marketing and design firm dedicated to helping charities meet their fundraising goals while helping to educate and empower people within LA to give back to their communities.

At “Surf Story Project” all donors will be able to pick and choose a specific project of choice created by Heal the Bay, learn more about the charity, track the project, get updates and find out how they can get involved.

Guests are invited to attend the event for a suggested donation of $10pp at arrival. For more information on Heal LA and future projects, visit: www.healLA.com.
